I've been practicing photography since 1975 in a more serious vein. Most of my technical side was shaped up within a film or emulsion perspective.
I also had the fortune to know or meet a few celebrated photographers such as the incredible Yousuf Karsh, who mentored me briefly by offering a brutally honest critique of my work as a young aspiring photographer.
My advice to anyone pursuing the art of photography is to start with the basic properties of photography and optical physics, not an owner's manual.

In my gallery i have many others photos from interesting places (my Cracow, Praha, Wien, Mallorca, Mellorca, Moroccco, Rodos, Florida) and beautiful flowers, trees, animals etc. Maybe You find something... I've looked through the photos and they're very, very nice. Both our styles have similarities in some cases. I'm not big on nature images unless it's absolutely unique. I don't really go out of my way to make them. I'm trying to find ways to capture human behaviour though. That one's not easy either. But the harder I try, the more good luck I get.
